Front to Back Arm Circles

LEFT

Target: Left Arm, Shoulder, Chest
Position: Seated or Standing
Count 1 rep when arms return to neutral

  1. Sit or stand in upright posture

  2. Reach arms out front at hip height with palms out and thumbs back

  3. Keep arms straight and fully extended through stretch

  4. Extend fingers open wide

  5. Rotate palms out and thumbs back

  6. Slowly bring arms up overhead and back behind body focusing on left arm rotating farther back

  7. Bring arms back in front of body with rotating palms out and thumbs down

RIGHT

Target: Right Arm, Shoulder, Chest
Position: Seated or Standing
Count 1 rep when arms return to neutral

  1. Sit or stand in upright posture

  2. Reach arms out front at hip height with palms out and thumbs back

  3. Keep arms straight and fully extended through stretch

  4. Extend fingers open wide

  5. Rotate palms out and thumbs back

  6. Slowly bring arms up overhead and back behind body focusing on right arm rotating farther back

  7. Bring arms back in front of body with rotating palms out and thumbs down
