Kneeling Lat (Arm Elevated)

LEFT

Target: Left Arm, Shoulder
Position: Kneeling
Count 1 rep after lowering chest into stretch

  1. Start on hands and knees

  2. Place left arm on elevated surface at or above shoulder height

  3. Keep right hand on ground

  4. Keep left arm reaching out across midline of body towards right side

  5. Round back and sink hips back towards heels

  6. Sink torso to the left while reaching left arm farther out to the right across the body

  7. Progression: Inhale at end range and sink torso farther to the left

RIGHT

Target: Right Arm, Shoulder
Position: Kneeling
Count 1 rep after lowering chest into stretch

  1. Start on hands and knees

  2. Place right arm on elevated surface at or above shoulder height

  3. Keep left hand on ground

  4. Keep right arm reaching out across midline of body towards left side

  5. Round back and sink hips back towards heels

  6. Sink torso to the right while reaching right arm farther out to the left across the body

  7. Progression: Inhale at end range and sink torso farther to the right
