Lunge Overhead Reach (Hip Prone Extension)

Target: Left Leg, Hip, Hip Flexor, Thigh
Position: Standing
Count 1 rep after extending forward and reaching overhead

  1. Stand in upright posture and step forward with right leg into a lunge position

  2. Allow right knee to go towards floor

  3. Keep right knee directly over right toe

  4. Keep right foot flat on the floor, tuck left pelvis under and contract left glute

  5. Press forward into left front hip

  6. Draw navel in and extend both arms overhead extending the spine

  7. Progression: Increase the overhead reach and lean body forward more into left hip
