Standing Low Back Extension

 

Target Region: Mid Back, Low Back
Position: Seated
Count 1 rep after rounding spine down towards floor

  1. Sit on floor with knees bent and feet wide outside of hips

  2. Bring chin to chest

  3. Round spine towards floor

  4. Reach hands back behind and underneath calves

  5. Grab ankles to assist bringing chest to floor

  6. Progression: Bring legs farther apart and pull chest farther down
