Shoulder IR (Strap)

LEFT

Target: Left Arm, Shoulder
Position: Seated or Standing
Count 1 rep after rotating arm down towards floor

  1. Extend spine in upright posture

  2. Bring left arm shoulder height at 90° to body with elbow bent at 90°

  3. Place strap in left hand and bring strap to front of left hand

  4. Wrap strap under front side and over top of left upper arm

  5. Hold strap with right hand with right arm across front of body

  6. Rotate left arm down towards the floor maintaining 90° angles

  7. Pull strap to increase downward rotation stretch in left shoulder

  8. Progression: Rotate left arm farther down to floor with strap

RIGHT

Target: Right Arm, Shoulder
Position: Seated or Standing
Count 1 rep after rotating arm down towards floor

  1. Extend spine in upright posture

  2. Bring right arm shoulder height at 90° to body with elbow bent at 90°

  3. Place strap in right hand and bring strap to front of right hand

  4. Wrap strap under front side and over top of right upper arm

  5. Hold strap with left hand with left arm across front of body

  6. Rotate right arm down towards the floor maintaining 90° angles

  7. Pull strap to increase downward rotation stretch in right shoulder

  8. Progression: Rotate right arm farther down to floor with strap
