Hip Bent Knee Cross Body (Strap)
LEFT
Target: Left Leg, Hip, Glute, Hamstring
Position: Lying on Back
Count 1 rep after bringing leg across body
Loop strap around left foot
Keep strap in right hand
Lie on back with left knee bent and right leg fully extended
Contract left groin and bring left leg across body towards right shoulder
Keep right hip on floor with leg straight and foot turned inward
Pull strap with right hand to increase stretch in left hip/hamstring
Progression: Use left groin and right hand to bring left leg farther across body
RIGHT
Target: Right Leg, Hip, Glute, Hamstring
Position: Lying on Back
Count 1 rep after bringing leg across body
Loop strap around right foot
Keep strap in left hand
Lie on back with right knee bent and left leg fully extended
Contract right groin and bring right leg across body towards left shoulder
Keep left hip on floor with leg straight and foot turned inward
Pull strap with left hand to increase stretch in right hip/hamstring
Progression: Use right groin and left hand to bring right leg farther across body
