World's Greatest Stretch

LEFT

Target: Left Leg, Hip, Knee, Ankle, Glute, Hip Flexor, Hamstring, Calf
Position: Standing
Count 1 rep after leaning forward over straight front leg

  1. Stand with both feet together

  2. Lunge forward with left leg out front

  3. Lean forward 45 degrees with left elbow inside left thigh

  4. Shift body back to upright posture facing sideways and squat back onto right leg with knee bent

  5. Keep left leg fully extended and rotate left leg outward with foot flexed on left heel

  6. Step back up with right leg, body facing forward with left leg out front on heel, and sit back onto right leg

  7. Progression: Lean forward over left leg to increase stretch in back of left leg

RIGHT

Target: Right Leg, Hip, Knee, Ankle, Glute, Hip Flexor, Hamstring, Calf
Position: Standing
Count 1 rep after leaning forward over straight front leg

  1. Stand with both feet together

  2. Lunge forward with right leg out front

  3. Lean forward 45 degrees with right elbow inside right thigh

  4. Shift body back to upright posture facing sideways and squat back onto left leg with knee bent

  5. Keep right leg fully extended and rotate right leg outward with foot flexed on right heel

  6. Step back up with left leg, body facing forward with right leg out front on heel, and sit back onto left leg

  7. Progression: Lean forward over right leg to increase stretch in back of right leg
